Under the direction of the middle and high school principals, the Director of Spiritual Life and Discipleship will seek to engage the students in grades 5-12 to grow in their knowledge and relationship with Jesus Christ, 以及“梦想远大”, 多祷告, 为他人服务."  要做到这一点, areas of responsibility include student discipleship, 精神的形成, 世界观的集成, 监督教堂, 规划撤退, 组织圣经学习, 领导教师门徒训练, and developing a thoughtful and thorough plan to develop disciples and disciple-makers.

• Cast a vision for 精神的形成 that is biblically based and aligns with 本利彭学校 philosophies and systems of belief.
• Planning and oversight of middle school/high school chapels
• Oversee the high school discipleship student group.
• Coordinate all bible studies, retreats, spiritual life special events, etc.
• Create and lead a systematic culture of student leadership, discipleship and mentoring using adults and students.
• Serve in the role of “campus pastor” for all issues related to the spiritual welfare of the student body, 工作人员, 和老师.
• Meet with local pastors and other Christian groups to discuss avenues of partnerships that will benefit both Ben Lippen and their organization.
• Develop service opportunities and partnerships for Ben Lippen students to serve our community.
• Fulfill all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

• Be of strong Christian faith; have a passion for serving children and families through the high calling of Christian education.
• Pastoral and counseling experience with adults and families
• Highly relational with established record of cultivating strong, appropriate relationships with students and adults.
• Experience in a Christian school environment or classroom preferred.
• Obvious love and desire to communicate the gospel of Christ to young people.
• Effective written and verbal communicator.
• Demonstrated experience working in a diverse international community and strong cross-cultural skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
